VENTURE CAPITAL MATCH PROGRAM/MINORITY VENTURE CAPITAL

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM An investment made either directly into a qualified Louisiana Venture Capital Fund or as a co-investment made with a qualified Venture Capital Fund in a Louisiana small business. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS Louisiana venture capital funds, Louisiana businesses with investment from qualified venture capital funds. DOLLAR LIMIT PER PROJECT (LEDC PORTION) Match Program $5,000,000. Co-Investment Program $500,000. PERCENT OF PROJECT COST Match Program - One dollar for every two of private investment. Co-Investment Program - One fourth of Venture capital investment round. USE OF FUNDS Match Program For partnership interest in limited partnerships or limited liability companies. Managed Funds Co-Investment To match up to 1/4 of a venture capital investment round in a Louisiana business with a qualified Venture Capital Fund up to $500,000. EQUITY REQUIRED Match Minimum - $5,000,000 Co-Investment Minimum - $7,500,000
